What Is Upstate Reggae On The River
Upstate Reggae on the River eco music festival is a celebration of the preservation of the earth, culture, community, and the unique rhythms of Reggae Music. On August 23, 2008, the festival will attract local residents and visitors from around the globe who want to enjoy the sights, sounds, tastes and history of the Caribbean. This one-day family celebration will take place at Croton Point Park, Croton on Hudson, NY. From 10:00 am - 8:00 pm, festival visitors have a choice of activities including a tapestry of various genres of music, art, culture, entertainment for children, arts and crafts vendors from around the country, and food from various Caribbean islands, and education of how to preserve the environment of living an eco-friendly existence. The festival will also provide the venue for many non-profit organizations to raise money for each of their causes.
